SURABAYA, East Java : For most graduating students, finding a job would be the top priority in their minds. But not for the 145 students from the Ciputra University in Surabaya, East Java.
That's because almost all of them have business start-ups and have created more than 900 jobs in Indonesia. They are the first batch of students who have completed 4 years of entrepreneurship education initiated by one of Indonesia's most successful entrepreneurs. "Before they come here, we checked to see if they are suitable to become entrepreneurs... If they are not suitable, we (tell them) to you go to other universities," said Ciputra, who founded Ciputra University.
